If you thought snacks couldn’t get any better after my Sweet Shankarpali or Spicy Namkin Para, think again! Say hello to Masala Roasted Nuts—crunchy, spicy, and seriously addictive. I swear, I always end up sneaking a handful while roasting…oops
Perfect for gifting, tea-time munching, or just keeping your snack jar happy, and the best part? They stay fresh for weeks!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cashews
- 1 cup peanuts
- 2 tbsp ghee or oil
- 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
Optional Fun Twist:
- Add sesame seeds or roasted curry leaves for extra flavor
- Toss in a few cashews coated with jaggery for a sweet & spicy mix
How to Make Them:
- Heat & Spice: Heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add chili powder, turmeric, salt, and garam masala. Let the aroma fill your kitchen—it’s heavenly!
- Roast Nuts: Toss in almonds, cashews, and peanuts. Stir continuously on medium flame until nuts turn golden and slightly crisp. Don’t walk away—they burn faster than you think!
- Cool Completely: Transfer the nuts to a plate and let them cool completely. This step is key—otherwise, your crunchy magic turns soft.
Storage Tips & Smart Tip
Store in an airtight container at room temperature. They stay crunchy for up to a month.
